This website (as well as a ton of city websites) are operated by one company http://www.citiesunlimited.com/ . They hack out generic cookie cutter city websites, paste the name of the town on the top of the page and call it a city home page. This is only endless useless links to make money for themselves. No real information here. BTW, I don't live in Kendallville, but am trying to find out for a co-worker if DSL is available out there. Does anyone have or know if DSL is available out there?

Osgood, IN 150 years celebration! - no information on the www.osgoodindiana.com website. What a missed opportunity for all visitors (and site sponsors). My Mom will be visiting from Fl and wants to attend her hometown celebration.

I am originally from Kokomo, I like going through websites to see what's going on. To be honest there isn't much; murder's, shootings, drug busts, and that's about it. Yeah there wasn't much going on b/f, but I was expecting more from this site than advertisements. This is supposed to be a county website, yeah.

why dont you have things like information on things like how to get involved with the community like helping the homeless or elderly

I so agree this sight is a joke. there is not one mention of 4th of July celebration or christmas in the park under the events botton. doesn't even mention the park.

They don't even put anything on here about the jay county fairgrounds and where the fairgrounds are located.

Logansport is a joke, as well as all of Indiana. But here there are no jobs, the place is going downhill. It's one big drug town, everything's run-down, there's nothing here. Honestly, we should not have to move out of our hometown just because some "other" people; including immigrants are taking it over. My family has lived here their whole lives, and we should not have to take the back seat to people who just moved here and know NOTHING about it. Hopefully someone smart will read this and publish it. I am sick and tired about nothing being done about our city. I just continue to hope that something great will happen so we have our jobs back, and we have "LEGAL" citizens. Which, it's not just illegal people, it's legal too.. Drive through our town sometime... you'll see the finest in trash. I hope you all see what I am talking about and we do something about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You all need to stop complaining and get off your butts and do something about the towns you live in and say are so terrible. Any one can sit around and gripe! Get up and lead! Make the changes you think are necessary to make your town map worthy again...

Visitor got it right, do something about these pathetic towns going no where fast. If your family has lived there so long what have they done to make it better? According to you not much but sit around and let "other'' people try to better their lives. I'm assuming you're talking about our 3rd World Country neighbors. I would love to see more people shut up and take action! Our small Indiana town has gone trashy too because of apathy and corrupt government, mainly local. Now that the industry is gone and there is no more money to line pockets there's also little tax base to do anything either. It has to start with individuals willing to put some sweat equity into their towns. Oh yeah, and VOTE!

Although this website may be lacking, Hope, Indiana is not. I grew up there. Also as an АDULT I moved back for a while. The Army decides where I live, but I will always call Hope and Hartsville HOME. Cross Cliff, Hope, and Hauser, while small are safe and friendly. While the town does have a history of certain problems, I think people have been harsh and judgemental.
