Does anyone else think it's odd that we will spend millions of dollars renovating our stadiums when we can't win two games in a row? I think we should have put the money into the TEAM, won some games and let them pay for it with ticket sales. Any thoughts? |

Can't expect miracles from a team with a young roster, new management, and no money for quality players. It'll be at least a few years before they can get the pieces put together to win on a consistant basis. |

Interesting article I read about how things have fallen apart for the Royals on Fox Sports website. |

The Royals are a sad excuse for a baseball team. It is almost funny how all you fans keep finding new (and funny if I may) excuses for why they can not compete, let alone win games in the MLB. For example, the Chicago Cubs may suck horribly.... but guess what, they have loyal fans. Maybe if the KC fans were as loyal as their big mouths make them out to be there would be more revenue for the team to build upon. But nooooooooo, god forbid we get our lazy fairweather fans out to Kaufman for a game! The moral of this story: the Royals need to be cut from MLB and turned in to a AAA team with prospects of becoming an expansion team in the future for a city who would actually appreciate a baseball team. |

Looks like they may have already turned around. But I've noticed, with their recent wins, that noone is talking about them anymore. What gives? |
