Is there any way to search historical records in Aitkin, MN. from the 1890s online? My family use to live there & I'd like more infomation on them. I don't live anywhere near there.

My father, Oliver Daniel Grin, was born in Aitkin in 1916 to Paul Pierre Grin and Mina Eleanor Abrahamson. I am seeking any documents regarding birth, death, marraige, property ownership, school, church etc. regarding my family. My grandfather died in 1922 and my grandmother married Axel Erickson. We lived in Duluth when I was a child. Please email as below

My Great Great Grandfather, Henry Wadsworth moved from Conneticut to Glencoe in 1870. In going through some family papers I came across a bird's eye view map of the town dated 1881 which includes the location of the H Wadsworth Hardware store among other notable locations. I have scanned it and would be happy to email it to anyone in Glencoe interested in having it.

Craig, My father grew up in Glencoe in the early 1900's. I remember going there on vacations and visiting his mother and brother. I would LOVE to have a copy of your map. Would you e-mail it to me?
