my friends and I come to Aiken all the time to shop downtown. We love to be able to sit on a bench or stop and have coffee at one of the outdoor tables. We love having our pictures taken with the adorable "People (dummy)" sitting on the bench on Laurens Street.Don't move the News racks, tables and benches. These make Aiken so special and enjoyable to visit. I am in Aiken today and heard that some of the city council leaders want to remove all these things. What on earth are they thinking? Please don't let this happen. All my relatives that came for the Masters had their pictures taken with "our adorable friends on the bench in front of The Artist Parlor"
