It's a real shame what is going on in the little league this year. They are letting coaches pick and choose players and loading teams up. They are letting coaches jump thier younger children up from machine pitch to 11-12 year olds. They went behind they board's back and called parents and convinced them to let thier children be moved back down to machine pitch so they could have only two kid pitch teams. There are as many as 15 children on teams now which is unfair to player in getting to play equal amount of time. The Jamboree schedule was changed this year and the older boys played first! The T-ballers always played first. It is too much for the little kids to have to wait that long to play. Who is really running the show now? It sounds like it's being run by a high school click!!!! My children won't play Glade Spring little league next year. And many of the other parent's have said the same. What a shame. I challenge you to fix it! They have Boards and Committees (Checks and Balance) for a reason!

I would suggest you file a letter with your district little league and the national little league organization. They will respond to your issues; Good luck

When not playing according to the Charter which they must hold to be called Little League they have rules. All the rules are set..for saftey and the child. No where does it say parents. When moving kids from what is deamed safe for their age group be it up or down they are indangering the kids! If one child was hurt and the League has not kept to the guide lines they are libiable for all the injuries that may be caused. The Little League insurance will not be there when the Board gets sued. They will be alone, and lose the charter they have. They have an election each year for the board. If you do not like the way the Board you have is conducting the program go to the meetings! Make your voice heard there. You can get a whole new board. All the leagues have problems, how you handle them is up to you the parents of the kids.
